About me

I am a web designer/developer born and living in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Author of the SmartMenus jQuery menu plugin and other works I can't explain to my mom.

I am currently 42 years old (yes, this is dynamic so it's accurate 😊). I adore spending my spare time with my wife Vania and two kids - Adriana (11 years old) and Kristiyan (7), playing football (like foot and ball) with friends and listening to the likes of Depeche Mode, Recoil, U2...

I started writing code for the web back in 1999 - those days Netscape 4 was a thing and IE 5 was the best browser around. Now that I think of it, it's quite astonishing how far we've come since then.

I am most passionate about front-end stuff like JavaScript (which was my first love amongst all web technologies) and CSS but I can handle server-side code too (PHP, MySQL, C#). In the past few years I've also been quite interested in designing rather than just coding - and it's something I really enjoy doing when an opportunity comes.
