SmartMenus jQuery is a successor to one of the oldest website menu scripts. Although the name of the project remains the same, the jQuery plugin is a completely new open-source script designed and developed from scratch. Its main goal was to create a script that supports equally well widest possible variety of browsers running on all kinds of platforms and devices (desktop computers, tablets, mobile phones) and all possible input methods simultaneously (mouse, touch, keyboard).

Poshy Tip is a jQuery plugin for stylish tooltips. When it was first released it had one defining unique feature - other similar plugins required a background image to be sliced in a large number of separate images in order to create scalable tooltips while the Poshy Tip plugin required just a single background image while still supporting scalable tooltips. Recently the script has not received any feature upgrades but still remains one of the most advanced tooltip scripts.

Fresh Favicon was an inspirational favicon gallery site. Submissions were completely free and unlimited and the site also featured a rating system. Nowadays it's no longer maintained, but nonetheless, it still remains online.

SmartMenus is one of the oldest website menu scripts - the first version was released on August 2, 2001 as a hobby project. Back in the day IE 5 was the only browser with a decent DHTML support (yep, that's the proper hype term of the time) while Netscape 4 was still around with its <layer>'s implementation. Front-end coding was real fun back then!
